Job Summary
The Project Manager is a highly skilled
manager who will lead the implementation of a 249Startups project — which may
include donor-funded technical assistance, youth entrepreneurship, business
incubation/acceleration, or economic resilience programming (e.g., OCIAC, the
UNIDO Resilience Project, i-Upshift, or similar) — depending on assignment.
The job holder should possess a strong financial background, exceptional
budget management skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time
and within scope. This role requires effective communication skills,
meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with diverse
stakeholders to ensure project success. The Project Manager also represents
249Startups internally and externally, and is expected to consistently
position, promote, and defend the organization, acting on its behalf when
required. Where needed and relevant, the role holder will also directly
deliver technical assistance — including training, assessments, and
consultations.
